Accreditation
The Cathedral Parish School is accredited by the Florida Catholic Conference and holds membership in the National Catholic Education Association (NCEA). In 2007, the U.S. Department of Education recognized the Cathedral Parish School as a national Blue Ribbon School of Excellence.
School Improvement Process (SIP) 2012
Cathedral Parish School has begun the process for reaccreditation known as the School Improvement Plan (SIP). As a member of the Florida Catholic Conference (FCC), CPS is reaccredited every seven years to ensure that the school is focused on our values, student performance, and continuous improvement. More than just accreditation, this is an opportunity for the entire community to reflect on who we are and to lay out the path for our future.
The first phase of this process is gathering information from parents, students, teachers, administrators, and other stakeholders to create a school profile. The links to the following materials include an overview of the process and introductory letters to parents regarding survey methods CPS will be using to gather some of this data.
Please contact Mr. DeClemente, CPS Principal, at tdeclemente@cpsschool.org or 904.824.2861 if you have any questions about the survey or process.
