Morning Drop-Off

Students in grades 1-8 will report to the gym until the first bell rings. Kindergarten will go directly to their classrooms.

Afternoon Pickup

School dismisses at 2:50 pm. Cars will be allowed to enter the campus after 2:40 pm. All students must be picked up by 3:15 pm. Pickup for grades K-5 is on St. George Street. Pickup for middle school (grades 6-8), including younger students riding with middle schoolers, is on Charlotte Street. Please refer to the handbook for details.

Unless your student is actively enrolled in the After School Program, the student should stay with his/her class while waiting for afternoon pick up. Students not enrolled in After School will not be permitted on the playground with the after school students.

August 2010 Update from Mr. DeClemente:

I have received a number of comments from concerned parents regarding the afternoon pick-up line on St. George street. We are doing our best to load kids into cars as quickly and as safely as possible. As a reminder, if you are unable to pull into the driveway or pull over to allow traffic to flow down St. George, you are expected to circle the block. As noted in the handbook, this policy was mandated by the Planning and Zoning Board of St. Augustine and is present to limit the impact we have on community traffic and to ensure the safety of you and our students. Please do not be offended if the teacher at the corner asks you to circle around; she is just trying to fulfill our, and the city’s, expectations. If the traffic is backed up to Bridge Street or even as far back as King Street please take it upon yourself to circle around. Thank you so much for your help!
