Student Activities
Safety Patrol
The fourth and fifth grades provide safety patrol service to the school throughout the year. Students share rotating responsibilities in assisting teachers with the morning drop-off and afternoon dismissal.
Student Council
Student Council represents the students of Cathedral Parish School. Elections are held in the fall for officers and representatives. The Student Council provides many services. In addition to raising money to donate to charities of their choice, they coordinate the Veteran’s Day Program and the Thanksgiving Food Drive.
Respect Life Club
The Respect Life Club is for middle school students and meets monthly. The students work on activities and projects for St. Francis House for the Homeless, St. Gerard House for unwed mothers, and many other activities to assist the disabled or mentally challenged.
Choir
Singing Saints practice Fridays after school. Choir is open to all CPS students in grades 3 through 8. Dr. Bernie Sans directs the choir with the assistance of Mrs. Janice Treadway. Choir practice will begin promptly (children need to be in their seats and ready to sing) at 3:00 on Friday afternoons. Practice will conclude at 3:45 p.m., so please be prompt in picking up your student. Download the registration form [PDF] for details.
CPS Angels Dance Group

Baton Twirlers
Baton class meets once a week. Students in grades 1 - 8 are invited, and no previous twirling experience is necessary. Download the registration form [PDF].
