Carolyn Ziminski is a Jacksonville native and a graduate from Douglas Anderson School of the Arts. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Criminal Justice from the University of North Florida, and her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy from Jacksonville University. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and Trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy for Children and Adolescents. Her background is working with addictions patients, family reunification through the St. Johns County Court System, trauma survivors, and child and adolescent mental health. She worked as the School Counselor for St. Joseph Academy working with student wellness, learning strategies, and learning disabilities.

Carolyn has an open-door policy during the school day and promotes holistic wellness. She believes that each child is special in their own way with their own God-Given talents. Each child comes with their own unique needs and aims to meet each child where they are at. Carolyn is excited to join the CPS Team as her children are beginning their journey here as well.
