Biography
Joshua Stewart received a B.A. in Religion/Philosophy with a minor in Youth Ministry from Flagler College and is currently teaching Physical Education for grades K-8 at Cathedral Parish School (Florida Certification: Physical Education).
A strong advocate for active participation and character building, he involves students in a multitude of skill based activities and real life scenarios which allow students to grow on a physical and spiritual level. His professional interests focus on students establishing a positive self-image, confidence, and appreciation of God’s gift of life and his current projects include a components of fitness assignment and student participation in various forms of fitness testing. In addition, he serves as Athletic Director for Cathedral Parish School athletics and the school’s AED and CPR certification supervisor. He was awarded with the School Related Employee of the Year Award as an employee at a former school for his contributions to student learning and involvement in extracurricular participation
