Lisette Villadóniga

 Sign Language:  K-5 Grades

Biography

After reading about Helen Keller in the fourth grade, Mrs. Villadoniga became fascinated with American Sign Language (ASL) and the Deaf Community.  She taught herself as much ASL as possible until receiving a bachelor’s degrees (Deaf Education and Elementary Education) from Flagler College. Mrs. Villadoniga has taught math, science and Language Art to middle school and elementary students at Florida School for the Deaf and Blind and other locations.  She is a certified teacher and interpreter for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.  Mrs. Villadoniga has had the privilege of teaching ASL to every age group possible, from babies to homeschool groups to medical offices.  Her goal is ignite a passion to learn and communicate with others despite possible language barriers.    

Mrs. Villadoniga has two daughters that attend CPS.  The Villadoniga family love to travel as much as possible.  They also love cooking and eating together.  Mrs. Villadoniga is truly blessed to have her family and be a part of the CPS family.
