Student Honors
National Junior Honor Society
The National Junior Honor Society at Cathedral Parish School is a duly chartered and affiliated chapter of this prestigious national organization. Membership is open to eighth grade students who meet the required standards in five areas of evaluation: scholarship, leadership, service, citizenship, and character. Students are selected to be members by a seven-member Faculty Council, appointed by the principal.
Honor Roll
Honor roll status is awarded quarterly to students in grades 4 through 8. Students must receive 90-100 for the "A" Honor Roll and 80-100 for the "A-B" Honor Roll.
Spirit of CPS Award
The "Spirit of CPS" honor roll award will be given to students who have consistently shown a high degree of respect for their teachers and fellow students. Qualification for this honor is by vote of the entire Junior High faculty. It will be awarded quarterly.
