Biography
Holly H. Faustini received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Florida. She also completed undergraduate coursework in education, history, geography and economics at the University of North Florida and is currently teaching Middle School Social Studies at Cathedral Parish School ( Florida Certification: Social Studies Grades 5-9 and Psychology Grades 6-12).
A strong advocate for inspiring students to take responsibility for their education and their future by empowering them with academic and personal skills that will enhance their future success, Holly Faustini involves her students in project-based activities that make history relevant to current circumstances and engages and encourages students to research and extend their knowledge. Her professional interests focus on the rich history of all cultures but in particular, a pride in the democracy and history of the United States of America. Her current projects include the School Improvement Plan leadership committee, attendance of 6-Traits of writing workshops, sponsor of the Cathedral Parish Brain Brawl Team, sponsor of the National Geographic Geography Bee and sponsor of the Cathedral Parish School chapter of the National Junior Honor Society.
