Kim Land received a B.S. in Elementary Education from Missouri Southern State University and an Advanced Associates Degree in Bible and Pre-Elementary Education from Ozark Christian College. She has taught school in Oklahoma, Colorado and Florida. 3rd grade has always been her favorite grade to teach.

 

It is Mrs. Land's goal to make learning as exciting as possible by incorporating as many hands-on interactive experiences as possible. She loves how studying Science and Math oftentimes leads students to a deeper understanding of how the world, from the micro to the macro, had to have been created by a Master Designer. After teaching in the public school system, she is excited to have the freedom to discuss there is hope in God and inspire her students that He has plans for them. 

 

Mrs. Land is married to Jim, and they have two adult children, Alexandria and William Scott. William Scott serves in the Navy at NAS in Jacksonville which is the reason the family chose to settle in St. Augustine. They also have two dogs: Killer and Chicken Little (Yes, he does think the sky is falling.) :😊
